According to the Togliatti machine builder, this is a car for people who want to get an "iron horse" with a mischievous character and striving for a constant "drive" both on the road and in life ...

Officially, the serial version of the "charged Vesta" debuted on July 10, 2018 - during an online demonstration, but its conceptual prototype of the same name was presented to the world community back in August 2016 - at the international Moscow auto show.

Compared to the standard model, the sports four-door not only received visual changes, but also underwent a deep "technical revision" - the engine was boosted, the suspension was seriously reworked and more powerful brakes were installed.

Outside, it will not be difficult to identify Lada Vesta Sport against the background of the basic “brother” - its distinctive features are the widened wheel arches accommodating the original “rollers” of 17 or 18 inches, a front bumper with air intakes, a small spoiler on the trunk lid, a rear bumper with a fake diffuser and two "curly" tailpipes of the exhaust system, as well as red strokes throughout the body.

The length of the sports "Vesta" is 4420 mm, of which 2635 mm is the gap between the wheelsets, 1774 mm in width, and 1478 mm in height.

The ground clearance of the three-volume vehicle is 162 mm, and the front and rear track sizes are 1545 mm and 1525 mm, respectively.

When equipped, the sedan weighs 1322 kg.

Inside, Lada Vesta Sport repeats the layout of the standard model, but differs from it in many different details.

There is a leather steering wheel, a instrument cluster with red scales, sports front seats with a pronounced side profile and upholstered in leather with Alcantara, original velor floor mats, metal pedal pads and ubiquitous red accents.

The rest of the salons of the two different versions are identical - attractive and modern design, well-thought-out ergonomics, high-quality finishing materials and a five-seater layout.

The trunk of a sports sedan is able to "absorb" 480 liters of luggage, and in the "cellar" it contains a spare wheel and the necessary tools.


The Lada Vesta Sport is armed with a gasoline atmospheric "four" with a working volume of 1.8 liters, which meets the environmental requirements of "Euro-5", with multi-point fuel injection, a variable valve timing mechanism and a 16-valve DOHC timing belt, which generates 145 horsepower at 6000 rpm and 184 Nm of torque at 3600 rpm.

In tandem with the engine, a 5-speed "manual" transmission with a cable-operated shift system works, directing the entire power reserve to the wheels of the front axle.

Such a combination provides the car with a good "driving" potential: from zero to the first "hundred" it accelerates after 9.6 seconds, and its "maximum speed" fits into 193 km / h.

For every 100 km of run, the four-door requires 7.9 liters of fuel in combined conditions

Structurally, the sports Vesta as a whole repeats the standard "brother" - the front-wheel drive platform "Lada B" at the base, independent front and semi-independent rear suspension (MacPherson struts and torsion beam, respectively), rack and pinion steering gear with electric power steering and disc brakes on all wheels (front - ventilated).

But the "charged" sedan also lacks distinctive qualities: front fenders made of plastic; "Clamped" shock absorbers and springs; reinforced steering knuckles; and a braking system with larger discs, pistons and pads.


On the Russian market, sales of Lada Vesta Sport started in January 2019 and this sedan is offered in one single configuration: "Luxe" - at a price of 1,009,900 rubles.

By default, the "charged" three-volume box is equipped with: two front airbags, an ERA-GLONASS system, ABS, EBD, ESC with a shutdown function, TCS, technology assistance when starting up the hill, four power windows, heated front seats, a single-zone "climate", an audio system with four loudspeakers, light and rain sensors, 17-inch alloy wheels, rear parking sensors, "cruise" and some other equipment.

For an additional 36,000 rubles, the car can be equipped with the Multimedia package, which includes: heated windshield, media center with a 7-inch display and six speakers and a rear-view camera. In addition, the metallic color will cost another 12,000 rubles.
