The Jaguar F-Pace SVR is a high-performance, premium mid-size all-wheel-drive crossover developed by the British brand's sports division SVO, which combines elegant design, a high level of practicality and outstanding performance ...

The "charged" SUV celebrated its official premiere in March 2018 (at the stands of the International New York Auto Show) - compared with the standard "brother": he tried on a number of visual improvements, "armed" with a 550-horsepower engine and received a much more "enduring" technical component.

The Jaguar F-Pace SVR looks beautiful, impressive and powerful, and against the background of the "civilian" model it is distinguished by a front bumper with huge air intakes, door sills, ventilation holes on the hood, an enlarged spoiler, a developed diffuser in the rear bumper with a quartet of exhaust pipes, SVR - symbols and wheels of the original design with dimensions of 21 or 22 inches.

The length of the "charged" Jaguar F-Pace is 4746 mm, width - 2175 mm, height - 1693 mm. The distance between the wheelsets extends for the car by 2874 mm, and its ground clearance is 213 mm.

Inside, an original steering wheel with aluminum paddle shifters, a traditional automatic lever (instead of a swivel washer) and embossed seats with integrated head restraints (in particular, in the back row) declare the impressive potential of a mid-size SUV.

The rest of the "charged" model does not differ from the standard one - "thoroughbred" design, the highest quality workmanship, a five-seat layout and a trunk with a volume of 508 to 1598 liters (depending on the position of the "gallery").

Under the hood of the Jaguar F-Pace SVR hides an aluminum petrol "eight" LR-V8 with a displacement of 5.0 liters with a V-shaped architecture, direct injection, an Eaton supercharger, variable valve timing at the intake and exhaust and 32-valve timing, generating 550 horsepower at 6000 rpm and 680 Nm of rotational potential at 3500-4000 rpm.

The standard "charged" crossover is equipped with an 8-band "automatic" with the ability to change gears with paddle shifters and an all-wheel drive transmission with a multi-disc hydraulic clutch, a chain drive in the front axle wheel drive and an electronically controlled rear differential.

From a standstill to 100 km / h, the high-performance SUV "catapults" in 4.3 seconds, and accelerates to a maximum of 283 km / h (the speed is artificially limited).

In the combined cycle, the five-door "drinks" about 11 liters of fuel for every "hundred" of the run.

From a constructive point of view, the Jaguar F-Pace SVR repeats the standard "brother" - it is based on the modular "bogie" iQ [Al] with a wide use of aluminum (80%) and has independent suspensions "in a circle" (double wishbone in front and multi-link with intermediate lever rear) and adaptive electric power steering.

Nominally, the car boasts electronically controlled shock absorbers and increased stiffness of the springs and lateral stabilizers. On the front wheels of the crossover there are four-piston brake calipers with 395 mm discs, and on the rear - floating calipers with "pancakes" measuring 396 mm.

Official sales of the Jaguar F-Pace SVR will begin in the summer of 2018 - in the UK they will ask for a minimum of 74,800 pounds sterling (~ 6 million rubles).

The five-door starter equipment list includes: six airbags, ESP, ABS, full LED optics, 21-inch wheels with mixed tires front and rear, virtual instrument cluster, media center, dual-zone climate control, heated and electric front seats, premium audio system and a bunch of other modern options.
