Haima Family F7 is a front-wheel drive five-door minivan that combines attractive design, high level of practicality and good technical component ...

The car is addressed primarily to family people who have two or more children and love long journeys ...

The monocab, built on a modernized first-generation Mazda 3 bogie, went on sale in its home (Chinese) market at the end of September 2017 - it received a stylish exterior, a seven-seater saloon, a powerful turbo engine and a decent level of equipment.

The Haima Family F7 looks pretty good, and there are no obvious borrowings in its appearance. At the front, the car flaunts the energetic gaze of lighting technology, interconnected by a stylish radiator grill, and a massive bumper with LED "stripes" of running lights and an impressive "mouth" of the air intake, and at the rear it has a well-defined shape with pretty lamps, a neat trunk lid and two "curly" pipes exhaust system.

In profile, the minivan as a whole has harmonious body contours, which are attractive due to the smoothly sloping roof, the broken line of the "window sill" in the area of the rear doors and expressive wheel arches, but small wheel arches extol a bit of disproportion in its appearance.

The length of the Haima Family F7 extends to 4750 mm, of which 2800 mm falls on the distance between the wheelsets, reaches 1800 mm in width and 1695 mm in height. The single-volume vehicle has a ground clearance of 150 mm, and by default it "rests" on the road with 16-inch wheels.

Inside, the minivan has an attractive design, well-thought-out ergonomics and solid workmanship.

A colorful instrument cluster with a small "window" of the trip computer, a raised four-spoke multi-steering wheel, an attractive center console with an 8-inch infotainment screen and a well-arranged "remote control" of the air conditioning system - the car's interior looks fresh and pretty, and even does not have clear similarity with any of the foreign models.

In the front part of the Haima Family F7, comfortable, but practically devoid of lateral support, seats with an optimal cushion length and wide adjustment intervals are installed. The second row of seats has two formats to choose from: a full-fledged three-seater sofa or two separate "thrones" with an organizer in the center can be placed here. Well, the "gallery" here is purely formal - only children will sit on it.

Even with a full load of passengers, the minivan still has a trunk that can accommodate several suitcases. With a four- / five-seat layout, the volume of the cargo compartment is 850 liters, and with the middle row folded it becomes even more roomy (although the exact numbers have not been reported). In the niche under the raised floor there is a small "spare wheel" and a set of tools.

The "heart" of the Haima Family F7 is a four-cylinder petrol engine HM474Q-T with a working volume of 1.5 liters (1497 cubic centimeters) with a turbocharger, a direct injection system, a 16-valve DOHC timing belt and variable valve timing, which generates 165 horsepower at 5500 rpm and 220 Nm of torque at 1800-4000 rpm.

It is splashed with 6-speed "manual" or automatic transmissions, which deliver the full power reserve to the wheels of the front axle.

At the heart of the Haima Family F7, as already noted, is the front-wheel drive "bogie" of the first generation Mazda 3 (though it has gone through modernization). On the front axle of the car, an independent suspension with MacPherson struts, a transverse stabilizer, gas-filled shock absorbers and coil springs is used, and on the rear there is a semi-independent system with a torsion beam, shock absorbers and springs.

The monocab boasts rack and pinion steering with an electric power steering and a braking center, which includes disc brakes "in a circle" (front - ventilated), ABS, EBD and other modern electronics.

In the Chinese market, the Haima Family F7 is sold at prices ranging from 79,800 to 119,800 yuan (700 ~ 1,050 thousand rubles).

  • In the initial configuration, the minivan has: two front airbags, air conditioning, fabric seats, four power windows, ABS, EBD, an audio system, electric side mirrors and other equipment.
  • But the "top" modifications additionally "flaunt": a multimedia system with an 8-inch screen, "music" with ten columns, dual-zone "climate", ESP, front and rear parking sensors, alloy wheels, heated front seats, keyless access to the salon and other "bells and whistles".
