The "first" Bentley Continental GT is a luxury car of the "Gran Turismo" class, announced in two body versions: a coupe and a convertible with a retractable fabric roof.

The overall length of the machine is 4804 mm, width - 1965 mm, height - 1390-1398 mm. The center-to-center distance of the "Briton" is 2745 mm, and its clearance is 120 mm.

When loaded, the two-door weighs from 2240 to 2540 kg, depending on the modification.

At the heart of the first "release" of the Bentley Continental GT is the "Volkswagen D1" platform, which implies a longitudinal arrangement of the power plant and the presence of a monocoque body made of high-strength grades of steel and aluminum.

On both axles of the car, independent suspensions with pneumatic struts, adaptive shock absorbers and transverse stabilizers are used: in the front there is a double-lever, in the rear there is a multi-link. The machine is equipped with a rack and pinion steering with an active electric power steering, and on all its wheels are ventilated disc brakes with a mass of electronic assistants.


In the secondary market of Russia, Bentley Continental GT of the first generation in 2018 can be bought at a price of ~ 1.5 million rubles.

The car can boast a lot of advantages: noble appearance, luxurious interior, rich equipment, high level of comfort and safety, excellent driving characteristics, reliable technical "filling", the highest level of prestige and much more.
